EA essait d'acheter CD Projekt Red

L'information vient d'un employé du studio polonais. Selon lui:

“I’m employee of CDProjekt Red and I have some bad news to share with you. Our management is probably talking with Electronic Arts about potential take over. Electronic Arts representatives are currently visiting our studio and meeting with top management. We are not going to release any game soon, so for sure it’s not about any publishing deal, so the only possible reason for EA guys being here is that they want to buy us.”

Ce serait vraiment une mauvaise nouvelle car d'une part, CD Projekt Red perdrait en indépendance. Mais surtout, le studio américain est connu pour avoir démoli les studios qu'il a achetés au fil des années.

Car, piqure de rappel, c'est à cause d'EA que des studios comme Westwood, Maxis ou encore Bullfrog ont disparu suite à leurs rachats. Sans parler du viol des licences acquises par ses rachats, comme Sim City, Command & Conquer et Dungeon Keeper.
